Ferlach 16g Double

This is a fantastically engraved Ferlach 16 gauge side by side shotgun. It was engraved by J. Stavinohawien, the barrels are stamped “Bohler Antinit Rostsiche”, sn# 3386. Ferlach, the Austrians formed a gun guild and kept all gunsmiths in a close proximity in order for the gunsmiths to work together depending on their specialty.  There were a number of gunsmiths that specialized in barrel making, stock making, lock mechanism maker, and etc.  They would work closely to make sure each was doing their job correctly.  Once they became good at each particular item they began to put their name on the items they built.  These guns are hand built and by special order only with many guns being a one of a kind. This is a beautiful shotgun w/very intricate engraving with gold parts, inlays & triggers. The stock has been extended otherwise this shotgun is in immaculate condition. We are taking offers on it..
